#No route from start to finish

TFE, help us out on this as I'm sure it isn't just a burden to me.
I'd like to make my own sky track races but this very general error is really persistent on my tracks. With my current track I have tried placing:

  • Many checkpoints
  • Few checkpoints
  • Checkpoints on track pieces that do not overlap or go over each other
  • Placing them on every curve and in the middle of curves.

Possible cause: I use a lot of the coaster and inversion pieces on my tracks with vast changes of direction and very large drops and jumps. Could these be causing issues especially with joining multiple coaster and inversion pieces together?
Suggestion: Add an indicated route during live mix and/or an error message of sorts WHILE building the track so time isn't spent completing the route only to find out it's faulty.

I'm happy to share the sky track somehow if this could help, meanwhile if anyone knows a workaround please let me know so I could try it out!

Seconded, its either this or "track makes a uturn" on a lap race, or when theres no uturn

I have found section it of if point to point so I was placing like 20 + but got one of my tracks working with 5 check points

Will look at it this next week and see what we can do to help. Sounds like there is a gap in your track but we will do some investigations. If you are on PC and can share save games that would be useful.

Found it. Cool track. I was able to make a race from start to finish, will send it back to you. You probably just have to be careful where you place the Checkpoints as if you place it right after a steep drop the game may not be able to find a route from start to finish.

i initially wanted to use many checkpoints to try and keep the ability to boost up for the entire ride through the track so it is a bit of a shame i had to use more checkpoints, but regardless i got it working myself

I havent had time to grab a file/picture. But if it helps

Here is my track layout. At each end I have those U shaped pieces that go straight up, nearly upside down and then back down. The track crosses over itself 3 times.

The first time I set it up, the path worked fine. I tried the track, wanted to make adjustments, although I didnt change actual track parts, just changed how they looked. When I replaced the checkpoints, i started getting either the "u turn" error or the "no route" error

Issues seems to be to do with modifying - if you lay it all down and don't change the Start/Finish/CPs after first placing them it probably will work fine. We are proving that out atm.

So I made another track. This time a point to point Sky Track. No cross pieces, although the track does loop back over itself.

It does use double inversion and hang times and coaster loops.

Again getting the bug of "no route from start to finish" which is very frustrating as I was ready to put this course in #spotlight-submission and put alot of time into it.

Hoping this gets fixed soon

I did not modify the course after placing the checkpoints btw, and the checkpoints are placed so that the route is clear.
