Another issue I've seem to come across lately (though it might be more of a PC specs thing) is the fact that the map of the world will sometimes not load in fast enough, causing slightly elevated rough poly roads to appear, and if driving through them, causes you to fall through the world.
#Map portions not loading on PC quick enough

This should have been fixed (or at least improved) in the Pack1 update. Do let us know if you see it again
Oh, it still happens
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, and an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor. I have 16 GB of RAM installed.
That's what I have on my PC
and what settings have you got enabled in the game? Now the game has been out in the wild for a few weeks we are going to talk to THQ about the min and recommended spec. We think an SSD should probably be recommended. That said, if you change the settings so you are targeting 60fps but are failing to achieve it then you will likely outrun the streaming even with an SSD/NVMe drive
If you are running at 30Hz we give the streaming extra time to account for the lower fps
and do you have an SSD?
If you set your texture quality to high that should help. Can you try that?
Lemme try
also this image doesn't show us what HDD you have - can you do this and show us the output. Thanks
It's at High already
Ah ok you said everything was at Max. Take it down again and see if that makes any difference. Also are you actually falling out of the world or just seeing the world load "popping" in ahead of you? It should be nearly impossible to actually drive onto a non-streamed tile in the last patch as before you get that close it will be allocating nearly the entire normal time for running the game just to streaming
I'm turning everything down to High to see if that makes any difference (although what doesn't help is that I have HitFilm processing a video I made, so I need to wait for that to be done first)
Ha yes that won't help! Anything running in background is an issue - especially recording we have found
I probably should've waited until HitFilm is done processing first
In terms of settings to help here is what our team recommend:
Setting texture quality to high will likely make little visible difference and will take pressure off the streaming
Changing the other settings to make sure the game maintains as close to 60Hz as possible would also help. We posted on the discord about settings here #pc-performance-issues message
As a last resort running without vsync and framerate uncapped will give streaming the most time possible. We personally prefer running the game at a capped 60Hz. Each to their own though.
Seems like it's not happeneing anymore now that I've changed a few things.
Toned down a few settings and so far, not seen it happen again
May I also suggest that events can be entered with the amount of boost you have already acquired instead of starting over from one segment every time? I feel that is more disadvantageous and a bit disappointing that it doesn't allow you to keep your boost when entering events.
I know it's off topic, but...
Great to hear, thanks for checking
