Turkey season has opened in my area. I went on Monday and seen this really nice Jake. I didn't want to shoot it, because of the hope it would become a large Tom. So, I ran home, and went to sleep for 3 days. Then I went back to the same spot. Nothing!! No Turkey or anything. So I ran back home and slept for 3 days. I got up and went back to the same spot. There it was, the exact same Jake!!!
How does spamming the sleep trigger make this the most realistic hunting game??
Thanks

Allegedly you have to be active for 15 minutes (real time, an hour in game time) to spam sleep to be effective.
What was it's Age when you found it?
Because Animals stay in an Age Bracket (Young, Adult Mature) for a few years each depending on the Animals Life Cycle.
Then, IIRC, the Aging works simmilar to the Last game where you need to play at least 15 mins real time before the Aging takes effect.
I seen players just stay for 2 minutes and then sleep. All they were doing was making sure they spawn before sleeping. It worked to.
I know the post is a little crazy, but I was just trying to get some more ideas on the current system not to have players find a possible trophy and sit on the sleep trigger.
You should be aware that the Current system is also not Complete.
Refinements and Adjustments are being made throughout Early Access. New Methogs on increasing Animal and Herd Fitness are being Implemented, etc.

That's my point. There needs to be a little more to it than the last game. If I can hunt the high value areas and make a 5 star spawn in a short period. It doesn't take long to have all the animals 5 stars. Then what's the reason for playing the game?( most players thinking, since I have all the best trophy) that's why I hope the devs adds a little more to it.
