Hello together,
Thank you very much for a really lovely, fresh hunting game that the whole community is looking forward to.
There are so many great features in WOT2, such as the new rack system and the shooting rest, which were specifically requested by me and my community.
And other features.

Here are a few more suggestions for areas I think could be improved

  1. When I kill an animal from a herd, the others are often only startled for a brief moment and then run away just 50 or 100 metres. This is very unrealistic and means you can kill a lot of animals in a short space of time.
  2. In 15 hours of play, I found 7 rare animal colours (white) (2 mule deer, 1 grizzly, 3 buffalo, 1 white-tailed deer).
This happens far too often. Rare animals must be rare.

  1. The difficulty level is reduced by several features:
Generally, tracking with the dog is made significantly easier; in my opinion, the previous game benefited greatly from the fact that you had to be absolutely well-prepared and land good shots to avoid making the tracking unnecessarily difficult.
A maximum stamina limit per day would be appropriate for the dog. Then it wouldn’t always be available, and you’d have to weigh up how risky the shots should be.
  • In my opinion, the symbols displayed above the blood trails also make tracking too easy; these should only be visible once you’ve examined the blood trail.
  • Genetics are identifiable in advance, so it is no longer a challenge to determine which animal needs to be hunted.
It would be better if genetic tiers were used, e.g. 20+, 40+, 60+, 80+. That would give a rough guide. It would also be more realistic – what hunter can determine genetics 100% accurately at any time?
  • Animals can now be spotted and identified from a great distance.
A limit on information would be good so that it doesn’t become too easy.
  • Exploring the map is too extensive in one go; with 800 m in all directions, the map unlocks far too quickly.
All this means that the game has become significantly easier than its predecessor; you no longer have to worry so much about tricky situations.
    Mistakes are forgiven without consequences.
In my view, all this leads to significantly less depth in the game, which in turn
    results in a diminished atmosphere.
Don’t get me wrong, the game still has a lovely atmosphere, but it loses something due to overly simplified mechanics and mistakes without consequences.
  1. Unfortunately, the skill tree also leaves a lot to be desired.
  2. The accumulation of XP and the fact that 70% of the skills can be activated are not helpful.
The proportional system from the predecessor – ‘you have to perform the action you want to improve’ – was quite logical

Regarding long-range animal identification. For example, in woth1, while hunting chamois in the Transylvanian mountains, I didn't like the fact that I constantly had to approach the herd at 250 meters to cull the weakest animals. It was impossible to distinguish a 1-star male chamois from a 5-star one through a scope. Therefore, I would like to see this feature remain as it is now.

Alternatively, it could be improved by adding a corresponding skill to the skill tree.
