  • Realistic & Dynamic/Variations of Furs/Coats

Furs Look Flat and all the same on every animal of same species, Rare furs are cool, Yes! But...being able to tell the animals apart by fur or coat would add a lot to the realism and Experience of the game.

  • Realistic Ballistics

  • Customizable Arms
    Slings
    Bipods
    Muzzle attachments
    Barrel types/lenghts
Stocks - Aftermarket stocks and colors/ custom camo's
    Night-vision/Infrared Sights
Multicolor Camo's (3 paintable layers) so its Dynamic to personal preference.

  • Means of Travel
    Quad
    Horse
    Canoe/boat

  • More lively nature/habitats
    More Species
    More Ambient life
Herds can grow in count depending on herd management and biome
PBR Materials/Tesselation for Terrains ( Rocks,Sticks,Roots,Flora,Falling leaves etc.)
Water Simulation & Being able to swim
    Dynamic Weather/Seasons
Animals React/change behavior according to weather and season
Blood Trails & Footprint trails are more dynamic, especially footprints. tesselated footprints on terrain would be great for realism
    Better looking Flora overall
Realistic Animal animations These anims look like something a Rookie cooked up in 10th grade for a project. You're Professionals, Do it Professionally.

-Better AA implementation
(DLAA/SMAA/TAA that doesn't artifact/create noise/Shimmer) its hurtful to the eyes really.

  • Graphics
Sun/light Rays - with particle effects dust etc.
Reflections on water could be a lot better
    High Quality Dynamic Shadows
View/Render Distance of LOD's and Animals (even with View Distance at ULTRA trees look like...
Optimization takes time, just let the people choose the quality they want to play on instead of degrading a WORK OF ART so a few low-end users can play it...

Make things OPTIONAL instead of FORCING standards on us. We've been waiting for a REAL hunting simulator since the 2000's don't disappoint us now... by being like all the rest when you've shown us the potential to be the BEST!

!!UPVOTE PLEASE!!

I agree with everything, except for the boats, they are really unnecessary. We don't have a fishing simulator, after all, and there are no large lakes. What makes a simulator a simulator is REALISM. I am all for it, not adding new maps, new weapons, but improving the GAMEPLAY, NAMELY REALISM. Traces of blood, for example. It would be really cool if the traces of blood from a wounded animal were not static, but continued to spread, were dynamic, and not just a PNG picture. Also on the body of a wounded animal, so that the place where the bullet/arrow hit was bleeding. It is strange to approach the clean body of a dead animal, from which liters of blood flowed while it was running away. I do not think this is cruel, I think it is CORRECT. It is REALISTIC.
The animation of animals is also not up to par. I played 600 hours in woth, and I am tired of seeing the same movements of animals. They have become predictable, I have literally learned them all by heart. Sometimes the animals move absolutely synchronously, sometimes, for example, a deer lies for a long time, and then suddenly gets up, lets out a cry and lies down again. From the outside it looks strange. Sometimes the animation switches to another animation abruptly, abruptly, especially when the animal turns.
Graphics. The picture looks too saturated and bright, which does not create the impression of a serious hunting simulator. I adjust the brightness / contrast / saturation in the monitor settings myself and the game looks much better. Please work on this.

Also on the topic of textures. The same tree textures can be used on several maps at once, which spoils their uniqueness and originality. There is no feeling that you have really moved to the opposite side of the globe. The same problem with sounds. Both on the map of North America and in New Zealand, the sounds of birds singing are the same. At least most of them are the same, or were already on previous maps. This greatly spoils the ATMOSPHERE - also a very important aspect in hunting simulators. After all, you spend most of your time looking for animals, walking around nature. And the existing sounds of birds singing have become boring, I just feel sick of them. More variety is needed so that the game does not get boring. When I first started playing the game, I enjoyed the surrounding world, but now there is no such thing.

at the end of the day, I truely believe that WOTH is the best to date, It just needs constructive feedback.

Realism and Immersion is what sets games in this genre apart, When i first played i was blown away by the amount of detail, And now...It feels like its lacking...Details matter ALOT! for instance i was hunting elk on matariki park and the antler was literally floating above the fur...For other people it might not be such a big deal, but for me it was a big immmersion breaker, (I like looking at small details) so even the few pixels made all the difference to me.

the flat textures of rocks on paths etc did put me off a bit, But as its probably a UE4 game it makes sense. although i do believe that it might get updated to UE5 in a few years, Depending on what the developers plans are.

WOTH has better tree models than Cotw in my opinion

Realistic terminal ballistics and animal behavior have been my two biggest gripes since the beginning and especially when different ammo types were released. Bullet construction is far more important than caliber and energy when it comes to determining what the bullet does on impact. The devs did do a good job with external construction and flight ballistics so the trajectories are all pretty realistic, but terminal performance depends on caliber and energy not bullet design so it leads to a 300 grain brass solid in a 375 penetrating less than an non bonded soft point. The ai is still whacky at times mostly with aggression and sometimes spooking even on the lowest difficulty.

Alright so I'll be honest I really do not play this game that much and when I do it ends up reminding me almost instantly why I don't. I play the game for the first time in a month or two, shoot a whitetail doe standing in a herd about 200 yards off, and it charges me. I swear I can't make this shit up.

They aren’t going to add this, be honest. They don’t listen to the community anymore, and if they do, it’s rare.

Well, If they do'nt staer fixing things soon rhe harsh reality might start setting in..Coz no one likes forking over hard earned cash for trash. Agree or disagree, There are many out there that bought a game or two this month and felt they shot themselves in the foot coz now they're behind on rent or whatever the situation might be. We all know how life goes. but my point is, If they can't show us the love and respect we deserve(since we literally PAID them for a product and get almoat no customer satisfaction or even communication at this point then what's left to do? just give up like the rest of the community that allready did or do we keep pushimg forward till change happens?
