In WOTH we have a African map named "Tikamoon Plains" and I may be wrong so correct me if I am, but I think Tikamoon Plains is the map in the game with the least animals and I don’t know about you guys but I think we could have a few more species added? Just to have other animals to hunt and to add diversity to Tikamoon Plains.

Backfilling Species:

  • [T4] - Chacma Baboon
  • [T5] - Common Impala
  • [T6] - Plains Zebra

These three species would make for welcome additions on the map.

as a South African i can honestly say, I was a bit dissapointed by the low amount of wildlife found on this map...Still a great map BTW including the Eland - large animals to hunt and can get dangerous hunting these as they are about the same size as buffalo. check them out on youtube...some hunters have been lifted by these large bucks plenty a times🤣 not a trivial matter at all. Beautiful as they are dangerous. also the earthwolf and striped jackal are quite common, aswell as red cats (rooi kat) northern parts mostly

#

waterbuck and sable antilope are also rather common hunting game around these parts

In my opinion, the cape buffalo should be removed from the Arid Savanna and Desert biome because it doesn't fit this biome; the cape buffalo needs a lot of water to drink and always stays near a water source.

#

Add these animals in Tikamoon Plains:
Black-faced Impala (Aepyceros melampus ssp. petersi)

#

Damara Dik Dik (Madoqua kirkii ssp. damarensis)

Yes, I'm from South africa and mostly we Hunt Springbok in the Central karoo,Khalahari and other Arid Regions, They're also foundin lusher Regions like Limpopo,Kwazulu Natal. ( Provinces) earth wolves also roam these parts, but they're a bit on the scarce side, as they are'nt seen as often as other wildlife due to their skittishness, Striped Jackals are very common and are seen almost daily in crops/fields by farmers.

If there is anything else some of you might want to know about wildlife or these parts, send a DM or Tag me in the post, I'll be glad to help

In addition to all these, I'd do

Sable
Roan
Blesbok
Vervet monkey
Leopard
Cheetah
Brown hyena
Giraffe

#

It was tempting to say big 5 but that can be another map

With this map, I'd rather emphasize plains game

Cape Eland (Taurotragus oryx oryx)

While I was expecting something like Elephant or Southern Giraffe (Giraffa giraffa) (the ICUN finally decided to split the giraffe into 4 species)

I am quite happy to see the Eland finally come to a hunting game again and I think they work well for Tikamoon considering they are hunted in Namibia

The last game I saw them in was Cabela’s African Adventures (its called a hunting game but it wasn’t much of a hunting game)

Here I’m sharing some captures of a young eland I harvested. You can see the comparison between the eland’s shape in WOTH and in real life. The one in WOTH looks quite large for a juvenile specimen. In the harvest panel, the eland’s head is upright and there’s a texture bug on its back.

#

One picture shows an infant eland (left) and the other a juvenile eland (right).

More tier 4 animals would be so fun. I love hunting them... sadly there aren't many species that we can hunt and are tier 4

All 3 are larger then springbok, especially hartebeest

I believe the one species that would benefit tikamoon plains most is the plains zebra just because they are so unique and really give that Africa feel I think lechwe and Impala would also be really good because they would give some more love to the woodland and marsh areas.

I think if they add zebra they should have a similar range to blue wildebeest
