Since the game focuses on realism and uses real world existing brands of gear and firearms. I think it'd be really cool to get a Midwest USA map inspired by states like Ohio, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan. Etc.
- species list -
-whitetail deer
-black bear

  • rocky mountain elk

  • moose

  • bobcat

  • turkey

  • coyote

  • snowshoe hare
    -grey/black squirrel

  • grey wolf

  • grouse (in place of pheasant

  • woodcock

  • Mallard duck (wild duck in game)

  • Canadian goose
    -wood duck

                        -Habitat/bioms-

-rolling hills with dense oak and maple forest. (Maybe center/east part of map)

  • cedar swamps (north part of map)

  • rivers

  • agricultural lands (center and west side of map)
-semi hilly grasslands similar to Iowa's prairie (Southwest side of map)
-cedar/pine forests broken up by open meadows(north part of map)

                       -possible firearms-

  • Ruger American 350 legend or 450 bushmaster

  • Marlin lever action 44 magnum

  • Savage 110 predator in 22-250 for tier 2-3 animals
-cva or Thompson center .50cal muzzle loader

  • recurve/long bow

Side notes- restrict the moose and wolves to the northern area of the map in the cedar/pine forests and cedar swamps. Similar to how the Kodiak bear are only on the island on aurora shores.
Restrict elk to the rolling hill terrain in the center/east side of map.
Gear options- turkey call. Vortex line of scopes like the crossfire 3-9x40bdc reticle. Diamondback 4-12x44mm MOA. spotting scopes that help players be able to ID animals from a further distance than the binos. For the 3rd gear slot, a decoy to help lower the chances of them spooking when going into a call, or alternatively a bipod/shooting stick to help steady aim when prone or in kneeing position. Or Pop up blinds.

Other ideas - please add a trophy photo mode either in the harvest screen or photo mode that gives you a selection of poses for the animal and character to get some cool trophy shots before harvesting the animal.

Midwesterner here, I’d honestly rather they work on anything else. Canadian Arctic, Australia, Argentina, something new with NEW SPECIES.

Dude I'm from Michigan. I know the species are a tad redundant but for me itd be the map itself that got me.

I can do pretty much all of this once October rolls around around, zero need for this.

True. But when you can't do it during the summer IRL you can at least help scratch the itch by playing.

I can respect that I suppose.

Shit I forgot to add popup blinds instead of just the tripod stands.

This game is in desperate need of SOMETHING new that doesn’t completely either A. Break the game, or B. Bore the living shit out of everyone.
At this point it feels like they are trying to drag this already dead game out a little longer.

I mean I get how you feel. But other than south America or Australia, there will still be some sort of repetitiveness. Canadian arctic? Still has brown bear. Black bear. Moose. Caribou. Fox. Wolves. Anything European would still end up with red deer, fallow, roe. Mouflon. Asia, Australia and South America would be the only places we haven't seen yet. And I'm not saying a Midwest map has to come before any of those. It doesnt. Id just like to see one at one point.

But I doubt NR will because they are so lazy. Truly throwing this game to the wolves.

Well the beauty of dlcs is that you don't have to buy them.

I enjoy this game, but I don’t like the path NR is going down.

Well. There have been bigger games that hit worse rough patches before becoming better. The game is only 2 years old. So. You never know what might happen in the future.

I’m not sure who asked for a mobile game and half baked Scandinavian reserve but it wasn’t us in the feedback forum.

But, I don’t think anyone should hold NR to that standard anymore.
