Optics: scope idea

Nothing particularly special, just some lower magnification scopes with better quality lenses.

Both the 2-7x33 and 1.5-4x20 have just basic quality lenses and it would be really nice to have a couple of low mag scopes with good glass so they're better in low light. The two we have are not great in very early morning or thick forests, worse if those two factors are combined.

Maybe expand on the Overgaard line of optics with some deluxe lenses in the scopes and a spotting scopes? I'm sure a lot of folks would be really enjoy having a spotting scope as an option and some new scope reticles wouldn't hurt.

To be honest, a lot of us already have pretty much everything available to buy so some new optics wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings

@lapis furnace suggested simply adding te option to change the quality of glass and reticles of the scopes we already have with in game currency, I think this might be a better option simply because it would be simpler to implement

They gave us ammo choices, so I’m hoping we can get reticle choices in the future. Being able to improve the lens quality and alter the reticle would give the current low powered lenses a bit more utility… at least until we get some new ones.

I actually really like that idea, I'd be more than happy to pay to switch reticles and glass quality in a scope and that could be another way to use the in game currency

I really need to enable replies…..

I’d love additional ways to spend money. I’d even pay (in-game currency) to customize my zeroing options. Especially for the bow pin sights.

I absolutely agree with being able to change the lens quality. I love using the 1.5-4x20 scope when I'm hunting cape buffaloes, but I really don't like the lower lens quality (especially in situations where having clear, clean optics is crucial)

A rangefinder would be a cool addition now I think about it. It would be an option for folks who like bow hunting.

A couple of scopes, binos, and dot sights in different styles would make a cool dlc, even better if it brought the option to customize the scopes we have already.
