As many of us may know 3 in game days equals 1 in game year (apart from spam sleeping a such) which has already been confirmed. So why hasn't a calendar or something to keep track of your age cycles been added? This addition would make it easier to keep track of herds aging so we don't have to keep checking every day until something changes. As an example, I'm keeping an eye on my malo Caribou and i'm not sure how many days has past since I've seen him and not knowing until his star rating changes or he ages from adult to mature or keeping track of the other members of his herd when I already have many different herd I have to mentally keep track of because there is no in-game help to keep track of herds. I can memorize when the herds are and what star rating select animals have but a calendar of sorts would help with not only aging animals and making sure people don't lose their 5 stars and rares but also would help with managing other herds and over culling.

surely the devs already keep track of the days and such which allows the animals to age so why can't we see it as well to help us gage when we need to focus on our main herds
I get what ur saying but the idea is to not know how long it takes for the animal to age. You just have to watch over it. Helps u learn how animals age irl if u don't hunt. It's been like that since day 1. U just gotta keep track of whatever ur tryna grow
Yes but irl we have a year cycle that is kept track of and as an experienced hunter irl I know which deer are yearlings and which have been around a while and even name them to keep track of their progress. But I don't see how not having a day counter would benefit anyone that doesn't hunt especially since in real life we have hunting seasons which is on a yearly cycle
Yeah I see ur point
We really should add this.
I so wish we could get a day counter. If I have animals at a young age in a herd it'd be nice to know how long I can focus on other herds/animals before I have to get back to them for management.
On this topic, I have a question: When does a day pass? Is it only when we sleep? Is it at midnight pretty much no matter what? If I spend a full night or two in a stand, or out tracking something, did any days pass in that time?
that i have no idea about
