It would defeat the purpose of binos for every difficulty but ranger. That's why I think we need better binos and a marking system

100%. Switching back and forth creates a lot of noise and spooking potential in real life. Plus the mechanism and the animation in the game is soooooo damn clunky!

I think you’re a pretty poor hunter if you use your rifle to spot targets honestly.
One of the basic rules is not to point your weapon at something you don’t intend to shoot. You should already have your target identified by the time you’re aiming your weapon.
