#Ultimate Europe map plan

Okay. As long as each map has at least 2 or 3 unique animals
I prefer regions over countries. For example, the Balkans encompassing countries such as Bosnia 🇧🇦, Macedonia 🇲🇰, and others.
Yeah it's just a matter of finding them cause like I said there's lots of the same animals
I get that like Transylvania for Romania but this is just countries as people don't really know much about regions
A map can only (realistically) be in 1 country at at time, im some cases states
Customs are not going to appreciate you walking over the border with out a passport carrying a loaded firearm
🤣
Hahaha
Am I wrong?
Nah its just funny as fuck man but yeah you are indeed correct
With that in mind, it's prolly best to keep them withon onr jurisdiction. Like you listed the UK, I'd say stick with Scotland.
England and Wales can work ig, but Scotland is where most people would thibk of for there
I leave here and go. Transilvania is a region 😎.
I think Belarus would also be great! European Bison would be awesome.
I've mentioned before but actually being Scottish I highly advise against a pure scottish map its got to be a combination map.
England has muntjac and Chinese water deer we dont every big game species in Scotland would be repeats.
We dont have any issues traveling the country with firearms I can take my rifle out my safe drive down to england and shoot chinese water deer without having to notify a single person or police department.
Not to mention the UK is a fraction of the size of some US states I can drive down to london in like 7 hours lol
Are your hunting tags/licenses for Scotland valid in England?
We follow the general license it changes ever so slightly depending on the country but its valid anywhere in the UK
Okay
So ig the only argument left is realism, or whether or not those deer can be put on a different map
Or any animal on either side
I'm pretty confident the NZ map is based alongside the north and south island without actually displaying it in game It would be easy enough congreating the 'english' animals too one side and the more Scottish ones to the other.
then again pretty much everything besides Muntjac and water deer are also universally found in scotland.
I think you're right
You could get away with doing a pure English map since c e. scottius does exist In some parts of England in theory but then your missing out on featuring the highlands what would be a shame lmo.
Its apart of the Apachean mountain range
(yes the apachean mountians in the us!)
In Romania.
CotW and WotH treated NZ in much the same way, both maps are almost certainly set in the South Island but a few species that can only be found in the North Island were added for diversities sake i.e. sika, sambar etc. I’d rather not have a combined UK map but wouldn’t have too many complaints with a Scotland reserve that happens to have both muntjac and waterdeer on it.
I’m actually oddly pedantic about authentically recreating real life locations and personally don’t like having North Island species on a South Island map but I do realise how impractical this is.
Yeah, aren’t whitetail only found on a small island in New Zealand???
They are found primarily on Rakiura / Stewart’s Island (which is actually apart of my iwi land) and another small population is found on mostly private property around Lake Hāwea I believe.
For the sake of gameplay and practicality I guess I could agree to that.
They aren’t a commonly hunted species here though. Most New Zealanders or even foreign hunters rarely hunt them except on rare occasions. They also aren’t very impressive like they can be in North America, I’ve read that NZ lacks something essential to growth in their diet here. Adult whitetail in Stewart’s Island are often mistaken for juveniles by many North Americans I’ve met. Their antlers aren’t much better.
Actually there's obviously the herd of whitetail deer on Stewart island then there's also another wild population northwest of Queenstown near Glenorchy called the wakatipu herd named after the neighbouring lake, lake wakatipu then there's multiple private whitetail herds on stations for guided hunting near well lake Hawea
Except for the occasional and rare large whitetail buck but even then its comparable to like a 3yr old buck in the US
It would be better just to scrap scotland all together and just do england going that direction.
Red grouse are still found on the moors (what there's a few in england) and c.v scottius are found pretty much in the same areas.
Most of scotland and England are Sweden/central european red deer but historically c.v scot would range down to the lake district of england, red grouse are found tucked up on the mountains of the lake district.
Yes 😒 Ignorance 😆
Realistically? Bow hunting is not allowed in Romania.
I cannot say whether the region of Transylvania belongs to Romania due to a matter of internal politics. I would say it is located in the Carpathian Mountains.
It is currently under Romania’s control as I’m aware.
It is part of Romania.
It is a part of Romania now but historically it used to be a part of Hungary and the Ottoman empire
But it is Romanian so you're not wrong on that bit
How is this even rumbling on? This isn't some modern day disputed land, we know what country this is a part of.
I honestly don't know it's the balkans lol
macedonia is basically just greece
