#A mission animal on Matariki Park

I'd love this especially if it were like a 5* or something a massive almost mythical lost bull moose that's day's are numbered and yeah that would be hell awesome
A few cool mission animals would be cool like Nez Perce
Maybe there will be a surprise moose like this on some mission of MP. Do you believe it?
Agreed
The thing is there are no missions in MP only SP
I think there should be like 3 or 4 really cool mission animals like NPV I mean it had Hollywood, the black sheep, the black bear and I think that may be it but still
A game without story or missions is a dead game.
MP here means Matanari Park, not Multiplayer ;)
Yeah it would be crap if there was no story
I mean Cutterito said if there maybe gonna be a surprise moose mission on MP, you said there is is no missions in MP only SP. I'm pretty sure in this context Cutterito meant Matariki Park and not Multiplayer. And there will be missions in Matariki Park, just like in any other map
Here I leave a photo of text about the history of the introduction of the moose in New Zealand
You mean introduction there never was a reintroduction since they weren't native to NZ in the first place
You have a really cool book or books which ones are they
Yes, I have good books. Thanks.
One of the moose calves from Saskatchewan. Font: themeateater. The article is very interesting.
dang.. I looked up the first book, and it's 180 bucks😭
Yes
and the other 200,...that's unfair
I want them xD
OOoh oh I can get the first one used for 26€ :O
Good condition?
very good condition
6 bucks shipping but that's still a steal!
puts it in the shopping card
that book came out on the 1st of April 1993...my 4th birthday :D
Me, 6th.
If there's anyone here from New Zealand, remember there's a juicy reward for the moose. Mojo and Hallensteins hunt for the NZ moose, offering $100K prize to anyone who can find it. 🫎 Font: campaignbrief
I'm from NZ
Do you believe there are moose there?
Hmm that's a subject that requires abit of thinking I think yes and no I hope there are still moose in NZ but I can easily just accept that moose don't exist
In NZ
Anymore
In COTW, I pardoned the Fiordland moose.🫎of course, I did not miss the opportunity of making the photography.
such a great idea your brilliant! I heard abt this sometime before. Great idea hope they add it!
I shot it
It looks really cool
I would never do that in real life though
I shot it and it ran away...never found it again...😭
Too beautiful and majestic if you saw probably the last one to exist
What did you use and how did it just run away
he was too far away and I had no patience, didn't hit him good
he ran and his bloodtrail just disappeared into nothingness
I hope the same mission for MP in WOTH.🤞🏻
who knows what the devs have up their sleeves :D
Was the Fiordland Moose a Piebald Moose? Speaking of the real moose
No they were Common
There's never been a piebald moose in Fiordland
It wasn’t just one moose. They were trying to create a whole, self-sustaining herd in Dusky Sound in Fiordland but they failed to establish.
Well they survived barely
But yeah they did fail to create a stable population
They lasted to like the 50s
I’ve met the guy who is essentially the main man leading the hunt for moose in Fiordland. He’s written a few books and has some compelling arguments. Still think it’s bullshit though lol
Then sightings virtually ended
You a kiwi right
Yup
I live in the middle of nowhere, can’t really say as there aren’t many towns here and it’ll give me away 😅
I was born in Taupo but lived in Turangi for most of my life then moved down to near Invercargill
Cool, Palmy is the closest city to me. Still a 2 hour drive. I’m from central North Island too.
That is a weird thing to say it's not like I'm gonna hunt your ass down and get you or something
Not you in particular 😂 this is a public forum.
I don't particularly like the North Island
Plus I'm 14 and in Germany I couldn't do anything except talk to you
I like it here, not too fond of cities but North Island still has some reasonably remote places to live. Never really been down South except for work though.
I’m too poor for that lol
Books about the Fiordland Moose
Ken Tustin’s the guy, only met him once but he has some pretty cool stories to share.
I think it is the most famous photo and the most recent of the Fiordland Moose
Yeah I’ve seen that one, hard to tell but I reckon it’s just a dark colored red deer. Typical sasquatch picture though lol
Nah it just doesn't look right
It just doesn't not look like a red deer
That nose has a definitive moose like large mass of flesh
They Said It Was Impossible, until this evidence... Could the Fiordland Moose still be out in the wilderness of New Zealand?
Big thank you to Ken Tustin for this interview and insight in to a fascinating subject

Agreed. If you shot it you would be devastated if you retrieved him
