Welcome to Kawartha Lakes in the diverse region of south-central Ontario, this area provides many known and unique species. The diverse landscape and biomes offers many opportunities for big and small game alike. you may find yourself face-to-face with a Whitetail Deer or stalking a pack of Coyotes before flushing a field of Pheasants.

Just for reference in case you are unaware, The "shield" I am referring to is the "Canadian Shield" which is "the exposed portion of the continental crust underlying the majority of North America." meaning it is essentially mostly exposed rock with some grass and moss covering the top. This happens to be a very good spot for wildlife and not a very good one for farming

New Gear is also a possibility with the addition of decoys for mainly birds

This reserve would be perfect for introducing the giant Northern White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus borealis), a subspecies known for being heavyweights as they regularly exceed 200 pounds

That would make the white-tails on Nez Perce the Northwestern White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus ochrourus)
