I think that if they bring a species of deer, whitetail for example, on a new map this time they turn its antlers into velvet. That way it looks more interesting. If they bring whitetails back into a new map, I'm not going to spend my time hunting them when I have a great collection of whitetails with their antlers without velvet.
Hunting animals with velvet is popular in bowhunting.

I like to have some trophies with velvet in my collection. All you have to do is change the antlers for velvet ones as if on the map we are in the velvet deer hunting season in late summer.
