The lodges and their problems.

There are quite a few problems with the current lodges, especially that of the main lodge on the Transylvania map.
It begins with the fact that the lodge is very small and being designed as a cosy place to sit down and warm yourself by the fire, a lot of furniture is placed all over which dis-inhibits the possibility to make full use of the lodge to display trophies. What makes it even harder to show your trophies is that the lodge is divided up into multiple rooms which results in smaller areas for displays and make it even more cramped. The upstairs part of the lodge is so small and cramped due to the wooden beams and low ceiling it's almost impossible to make a decent picture to show the trophies you have put up there. There's just too much emphasis on making the lodge homey while displaying and showing off your trophies is basically the soul purpose of the lodge. This is also the reason you hardly see any images of people's trophies in the lodge, it's very difficult to properly show off what you all got on display.

My suggestion is to have a lodge that is much larger than the current one, make it just one big room to display trophies and have a small room left and right from the entrance for the bedroom and office. The lodge should be at least twice as high and furniture to the bare minimum. Leaving the furniture out completely has my preference.

The floor plan is just a mock-up what i am suggesting.

1. Entrance
2. Office
3. Bedroom
4. Main display, very large for herd-size display.
5. Large displays for a wide variety of animals, scenery and poses.

All along and up and down the wall is room for displaying as much as plaques as one desires.

I personally don’t think they are small. The only critique I have is that we can’t chose the placement of mounts.

Also I think it's kinda stupid with the mounts how they look downwards with animals on it

But yes I agree Transylvania is my favourite map in woth and I really wish it had lodges like Nez Perce or Aurora shores nice and large with lots and lots of body mounts

I wonder if people actually read what i wrote instead of the first two lines. If you are a red deer lover you know what i am talking about when it comes to the Transylvania main lodge. My other points for the lack of freedom to place whatever trophy where the player wants is also not mentioned nor the fact you are extremely limited to putting female trophies on display for example. Maybe if one lacks the amount of trophies i have they don't have an issue with the Transylvania lodge.

I hunted them the most when I was younger

If there was only one animal I could hunt for the rest of my life it would be red deer

And I would love to study red deer from many parts of the world

I don’t mind the “homey” vibe of the lodge. I think it’s aesthetic. I get where your coming from with the red deer clipping and I don’t disagree with having a bigger lodge with more dedication to bigger trophies. I just feel it only makes sense that this lodge has furniture as it is a summer house.

They’re hunting lodges, it’s a cabin/cottage for a group of hunters to stay at while hunting. We’re not staying in a wildlife museum.

So how do you enjoy your trophies, just sitting there in your taxidermy list?

It doesn’t matter how big you build your lodge that will always be a problem. Everyone fills up there lodge eventually.

No I wish Transylvania had a lodge similar to nez perce and aurora shores with lots of shoulder and body mounts

For those who think the Transylvania lodge isn't small and/or like the cosy setting of the lodge, are you content with the following:

• Lack of freedom to place any trophy anywhere you want.
• Clipping racks into items or other trophies.
• Very limited ability to place female trophies.
• No custom made dioramas.
• Bad lighting, no spotlights pointed on the trophies.
• The cramped second floor and kitchen of the lodge.
• Not being able to turn displays.
• No statistics are shown of the trophy when on display.
• Very limited amount of full or partial body trophy displays.
• Lodges looking like copy+paste compared to other player's lodge.
• Lacking trophy plaques variation.
• No skull mounts of trophies.
• Not being able to put trophies on the outside of the lodge.

A DLC for a different style of lodge would also be an option so for those who like it how the lodge is now can keep
the original and for those who like to go big can choose so by buying the lodge-DLC.

How would the DLC work would it be update the game purchase it and then once you've purchased it the lodge is replaced and all your trophies go back in the taxidermy assistant

Why do you not want changes for the Transylvania lodge when every other map gets to have a large lodge with sh*tloads of mounts that's just unfair

its reasonably sized for a house
