Add an option to open directly to Animal on Encyclopedia

Instead of open to mechanics it would be nice to have a toggle in settings or ability to customize the controls to open directly to the animals section. At the current patch on ps5 I don’t see this as customized.

I would also add entry to the animal encyclopedia directly from the animal icon on the map

And put the times on the mouse-over on the map - its not secret information, its just making me click 5 more times to find it.

While I certainly agree, what I'd much more like to see is the ability to sort the animals in the encyclopedia by other filters than hunting tier, most importantly by map! I feel like that would be a MAJOR improvement so you dont have to look for 8 specific animals among 40 others.

The map filter would be really incredible! Myself, I always find myself looking for information in Toolbox instead of the game itself. So leaving the option in the game would not make what we have within the game itself "useless".

I would also like for the ToolBox to show Time directly on the Need Zone (As well as the in-game map). I'm keeping track of my Often vs. Rarely on my own, but why make me look at the Need Zone, and then go to the encylopedia and scroll down to find my animal, then scroll down to find the feeding/drinking/sleeping times, etc. Its open information, its just painful to find it. Just put the time right on the Map Need Zone Icon (9:00; 12:00: 18:00 etc.)

Looks like filters for the encyclopedia will soon get released. Let's hope filter by map will be one of those
