On Linux there are something named Linux distro like Ubuntu Debin CasioOS and much more
and each of them comes With Desktop environment. Like CasioOS comes with hyparland and Ubuntu comes with Gnome
U can install Hyparland on Ubuntu, Arch ect
Hyparland looks Very good
I also use Hyparland (hyparland is the UI of casioOS)
But hyparland comes with a cost
Its kinda hard to tweak and change settings
Sometimes u may need to config Files, witch can be headache for u
I will recommend u go with something that is easy to use and also gives a very good ui, And my recommendation is Ubuntu.
It have gnome Not hyparland, but if u want u can also install Hyparland in it
Hack u can downalod both Gnome and Hyparland and change between them if u want to
U may get some issu but they can be fixed
