(this copies everything from /home to your hard disk, might take a while)

then edit /etc/fstab as root
like for example
run this to edit that
sudo pacman -S mousepad && sudo mousepad /etc/fstab

now at the very bottom add this line in

(do not remove anything from this file)

oh first give me ss of your /etc/fstab file
(which ever thing that previous command opens)

and also give me ss of sudo blkid command

it happens when your system is updating

you cant run 2 updates at the same time

pacman places a lock file in there

maybe you quited while it was updating(you ran that manually, no auto updates here :) )
and the lock file stayed there cuz pacman never finished updating

(becuz /home holds config files)

(do not install a distro with desktop env, install base arch or base arch distro
then install your desktop environment and a suitable login window(gdm for gnome, sddm for kde, you can use any login manager, but gdm is made for gnome, sddm is made for kde) and boom same desktop look
