#Changes I want to see....

  1. Weapon Balance: The Popcorn Bazooka and Bouncecaster on the Klown side are very powerful. To balance them, we could make them generate more heat when used a lot, so players have to be careful when using them.

  2. Combat Movement: Klowns have an advantage with their ranged weapons and fast movement, making it hard for others to fight them with melee. We could make Klown movement slower as their weapons get hotter, and make reloading the Popcorn Bazooka slower. Currently, backpedaling as a Klown results in a significant amount of missed melee attacks.

  3. Empty containers: Are empty containers meant to be that way or is it a mistake?

  4. Bouncecaster can't candy objectives: If an objective has no candy left, another Klown has to add some before you can finish it.

  5. Players leaving with objective items: When players leave with important items, it can cause problems for others still playing. We need to explain to players how many items are available and consider changes, like dropping items at exits or respawning them elsewhere.

  6. Gift Giving XP: Let's show players the XP they earn when giving gifts in the game to encourage more people to use this feature.

  7. Skill Check Timing Bug: Sometimes the game says you've timed a skill perfectly, but it's counted as bad timing.

  8. Knock Your Block Off: I've tested the max charged boxing gloves attack in different settings, but it seems to miss the target or overshoot it. I'm not sure how it's supposed to work. Can you clarify? Is this even the "Knock Your Block Off" feature.

  9. Perks and Abilities: i'm looking forward to the addition of perks and abilities in the future. They're crucial for keeping a game engaging over time. Without them, there's little distinction between characters, whether human or klown. Please refrain from making any games that do not have this if you want players to continue playing and purchasing cosmetics

klowns aren’t the problem, humans are

For “Knock You Block Off” they basically have to be one shot, then when you hit them with the charge up punch, it punches their head clean off.

I think empty containers is supposed to be a thing. It’s like that in all these types of games. Not every container will have an item.

I LOVE the gift giving XP idea. We should get rewarded for staying in the game and helping the other humans.

Weapon balancing is definitely a concern, but every time I even mention it I get people jumping down my throat.

I’d say most of your stuff is valid.

Some sort of spawn protection or spawn placement when joining in games.
First 3 matches I've ever played I joined the game in progress and was instantly killed as soon as I spawned.

@polar girder yea, replaced bots in mid chase so as soon as I spawn I'm already being shot with the popcorn launcher or the cotton candy gun

Which I think if they added the XP for the mini games, that could make the time sitting in the lobby a little less boring. The games themself are pretty boring, and to only give the other players items that could potentially make me have to wait longer as they survive. Where is the benefit to me? I’d rather just play on my phone and wait for it to end. But if we got XP for every gift given or something, that could make it more fun and worth while.

I agree

If they take one idea from this, I hope it’s the XP for gift giving. I can get over everything else, but THAT would be a game changer.

I mean, you do have a point. The spawns can be a little fucked, but it’s not a consistent problem. At least not one that I have encountered consistently. Happens like 1 time out of 10 games, and it’s usually because I spawn in late. If you don’t have a loading screen or anything and just end up spawned in a game, you are more likely to experience spawning in front of a Klown.

@polar girder I'm just suggesting it because on full release the 1/10 can easily become 100/1000

The more people playing the more possible it is for joining games in progress

Honestly popcorn bazooka would feel better if it didn’t stun people out of using their stam items so they have a chance to make more distance and bounce caster needs to only be able to fire 4-5 shots before overheating rather than 7. Not sure if you know that but hitting Klowns with charged big pocket weapons stuns for a whole 5 seconds so weapon combat feels fine if you can get that charged hit first. Compasses also show you escape items that people have either found or dropped so players leaving things around already has a fix. Everything else I agree with.

I’m not disagreeing. I think they should get rid of the joining a match that’s already started. Not only is that system causing there to be 9/7 humans, or 4/3 klowns. But it also puts you in a game that’s already 90% over, which isn’t fun at all.

except you get a movement penalty when charging a melee weapon while Klowns just backpedal out of your way. The humans needs to have better passives like Athletics should charge the weapons much faster, heroic should reload faster, rednecks should fix things much faster if they have a wrench and wrench should do more damage on the redneck, rebel/punks should get more uses out of the knives ... stuff like that.. each class should have a single item they do better with

what ive noticed so far is that clowns are super OP with the popcorn bazooka and the bouncer cotten thingy but if you take that from them they will suffer an endless stunlock and finisher. i do think the game leans more into the Human side but clowns just got 2-3 tools that are insanely OP

polar girder
#

Agreed. Those weapons are OP, but honestly without them the Humans would absolutely walk all over the Klowns. So idk. Even with the OP weapons, if you get a team of at least 5 skilled Humans, they can gank you very easily if you aren’t careful.

Of course Klowns would get destroyed when outnumbered, but you don't balance a game around that kind of scenario. In a strictly 1v1 setting those two weapons give an unfair advantage to the Klowns by leaving little to no room for counter play by use of a single melee weapon. You basically have to run around a corner to try and bait a heavy attack stun, but since the game is 3rd person they can see around corners and go wide and start backpedaling at full speed.

all in all, there is absolutely space to balance those weapons. They just aren't fun to go up against and leave little desire to use any other weapons.. it's just too good. Let the devs figure it out

There are ways to balance a weapon without reducing it's damage drastically. I'd also disagree that without those 2 weapons the klowns experience will be horrible. I've done the majority of the challenges that aren't bugged and I can consistently get kills with the boxing gloves, gigaray, flail and standard ray gun... in fact, I've mainly switched over to gigaray and boxing gloves with little issues in getting the majority of the kills/cocoons in a match.

The more time I put into this game, the more I see how OP the humans actually are. They can stun and kill a Klown in a couple seconds, even solo. So maybe the Klown weapons are good how they are, because if they get nerfed too hard, then the humans will be too OP. Which will result in the humans being nerfed hard. Then it’s just going to be keep going back and forth until we are all just slinging pillows and throwing marshmallows.

The best course of action would be to limit the specific weapons to the specific Klown. The slow vulnerable Klown should have the OP weapons. Being able to run Shorty with the Popcorn Bazooka and the Bouncecaster is what’s OP.
