by using generative AI first of all youre supporting a business model of a product that puts a lot of processing power into replacing human creativity instead of something more beneficial like helping the medicinal industry, AI data centres are bad for the environment and cause irreversible damage to the areas theyre implement all for the people who dont want to take the time to improve at art,,,

but aside from just supporting a bad business model-

using AI as a shortcut just kind of defeats the purpose of art, not improving but just getting a machine to make everything you do "better", does that sound normal,,,? it becomes hard to explain to non-artists, like asking a physicist "why cant we just go faster than the speed of light?" some things are just harder to understand if you arent the one who knows most about it,,,

a way i can put it is like this: would you want everything on the internet to be made with AI? all art, games, music, human passion, all of that to be just made by a machine, just because its easier for the people who cant be bothered to actually improve their skills? by using AI, this is exactly what youre allowing to happen,,,
