same happened with the poison in jungle during a round yesterday
what thats even weirder
i do have a screenshot of me standing in the sand
wonder if the replay would break if i saved it and it got fixed
could you send that replay?

ok I figured it out. When an object despawns in water it doesnt get removed from the water's list of collisions- it eventually builds up and the game runs out of space when processing the water so nothing else can enter/exit

i remember seeing the code for liquid,
it doesn't look like it uses the same collision system as everything else(?)
