Urk, those aren't even in vanilla so it's a bit more complicated
imo a just slightly smaller hitbox so you can at least stand at the edge between an omnispike and a block and not get hurt (at least vertically, and horizontally only if jumping in place would also make you get hit with a full block hitbox)

It's... The odd number width causes the cam to jump nastily when running through the seam, yeah
Like, it skips one tile. I've seen though that it only does this sometimes. I ran past the seam multiple times trying to find a pattern but I failed
there's probably an integer division somewhere in the camera controller code

like what's the reasoning for not wanting to edit an existing level, you dont want stages to suddenly change?
a version history someone saves/downloads a specific version of a stage might work. that way it wont change unless they download the updated version
but also no duplicates
a version history would also enable you to allow people to view/download old versions as well

my current problem is with levels that have the same name as one previously uploaded 5 minutes ago, and the "draft" version not being removed. a new map titled "my epic level V2" is perfectly fine though. for that, the Remix feature I've planned where a level is "parented" to or based on another one, could accomplish a similar outcome to what you explained - just with a slightly different ui

i think theres a small problem, empty gray bricks (left) and gray bricks with a mushroom (middle) do the same thing, while the gray brick with a coin (right) acts like a empty gray brick

1st, yes spectate is broken cuz you dont have the level downloaded and 2nd, hard reset should softlock the game for you iirc

We were trying to play casinoluigi's coop level, but each time we would download it (didn't matter if I was hosting or he was) it would kick the other repeatedely
Though on the other's screen it says it got downloaded
I even managed to start the game at the moment he joined before he got kicked, and the level worked fine
I think it comes from that particular level, which could be too big for the game to properly handle (hacking protection?), because then we tried another level and nothing happened
I'll add that the host's ping would raise a lot

When it loads infinitely, it's due to 2 items crossing each other (f.e. pipes or mushroom platforms)
You can't make them overlap each other by only placing, but by adjusting height.

you can put the level as an array of tiles (or even in your binary format) into the "Frame"
and then just make a command that uploads the level
allow the host to call that command
and boom, it replicates for everyone, even automatically for late joiners

the semis can get a little janked up at times, either try redrawing until it looks OK or avoid making complex shapes out of them. this is just because i don't have enough tiles drawn for it for the inner corners, etc
or, ugh, i could try spending some time manually drawing the missing inner corner tiles to add them to the autotiler

cause odd numbers cause bugs (namely a teleport when u go to the looping bounds, idk any other issues other than that tho)

i fixed this in co op castle by filling that columm with bullet bills.
wegas wall stage and co op castle have both been updated now with spikes added + for co-op castle gray blocks have been corrected!

I don't know if it's a feature or not, but spikes hurt even when put in the background. Also they'll always be put in the foreground.
