I would say, no, someone already posted a video on youtube (even ipod advertised it) of how to be a better player in MvLO
Even if i had to do something, i would say, get a player better than me to teach, like MarioGamer, JGamer or Snayp

I have an idea, i'm just not sure if it's the same as your "jump height training"
It would be just a vertical map that you have to climb up, with a timer.
The purpose of this is to hold your jumps exactly for what you need so you have less air time
Another idea:
Infinite starman mode, to practice starman hyperspeed
Also, the dev tool like in the movie mod to make powerups and ennemies spawn is very useful
Iframes timing training ? I don't know how to, but having it would be nice
