I Request More info
Ice walking particles missing
Ice slipping particles
There are particles when jumping out of spinner
okay now this is cool!
woah
Spinner drilling particles are inaccurate
Bullet bills' smoke particles are inaccurate
okay I NEED that
MvLO
the spin drill is too boring
for once Mario vs Luigi rodent is making use of the 29 hours a day on mvlo!
Oh i forgot another ones also
gimme a few minutes
Another missing particle is when you ground pound a shell
not exactly missing but it's inaccurate compared to mvlo
Star Collection Particle:
It's a spinning silouhette of a Star that fades in and out
There are 12 lines coming off of it
and another layer of lines
Collecting Coins generate too many particles than OG.
Coins in OG have a "sparkle duration" where it spawns particles for a short while (4 can usually be seen at a time)
I feel like some of these are because of Unity limitations no da
also yes while it is true they’re inaccurate it’s also not like iPod tended to do them like that, it’s most likely due to unity limitations
like for example here while it may not be, the spin drill looks like a 3d model lol
i think I got the sprite for this particle actually…
Does it look like i'm complaining about it?
no
If the iPod can't make them more accurate, who am I to judge?
huh- I never implied anything bad I was just pointing out lol
good
(whyd u say it like that..)
the iPod no da?
It should be lower priority no da. Particles are the least of our worries no da.
i just found out brick particles have some sort of velocity inheritance
I forgot another one, there's a missing particle when landing on cloud platforms
bruh
I don't think it's because of Unity limitations
but probably OpenGL limitations
not to sound rude but.. how is the engine NSMBDS uses, handle particles way better than the engine MVLO uses?
again, i don't think it's because of Unity limitations, but OpenGL
I didn't mention unity specifically
The engine MvLO uses is Unity
MvLO uses Unity's Particle Engine no da. Not a custom one no da.
It has smaller limits?
It has it's rules no da
if that's the case then maybe roblox has better development tools than i thought...
lmao...
i believe nintendo uses a custom engine for their games and nsmb is one of them, and mvlo is using unity so....
orrr perhaps it could also be due to missing assets?
pretty much all the particles in nsmb are sprites, and we needa find a way to rip them so that we can use them in unity to get the proper particle
interesting
I don't think i have the brain capacity of try to learn how to go around with NSMBDS rom files
