the only subtle difference I see between the 2 is that bowser’s body looks less materialized on the crunched version

basically i upscale the texture and then downscale it aproximated mode to make colors more exact so it doesn't look so bilinear and makes powerup textures easier to do

Look at Mario's, it's easier to do a precise texture because i see where the red really ends
to avoid things like, some pixels not being textured (and visible in-game) and leaving them red if i'm using a blue pallete

Now if you look at default mario's texture, theres tons of grayed colors in the divison of blue and red which makes powerup recoloring's precision harder to do

It does get upscaled by 400%, but then i DOWNSCALE it to it's original size before (using approximated method), which at the end just makes the textures less "bilinear" looking
i guess i understand the issue with anti ali but i don’t really experience much issue with it because you just manually select everything once, make it white, then use it for every other state texture afterwards
especially considering you already have to do that for color palettes
it’s just reusing what you already did

because for some reason his model got completely fucked up in the prefab once i changed a weight paint issue and exported the fbx

Luigi's propeller hat in NSMBWii is different than Mario's, but NSMBVS only has Mario's propeller hat model.

With Waluigi, i duplicated some bones
but when i reverted it i noticed
i did that because i thought the bones scalling made them too big
i found out that if you ever reimport/replace the fbx it needs to have the exact elements of the replaced fbx or you have to put it back manually into the prefab
like same amount of bones and whatever other thing
not vertices and such
fun fact that happened when i went to change Mario
all players that used LargeMario controller had no animations nor the controller lol

Added 3 New levels (The Rainbow House, Autumn Volcano, Leafy Hills).
Changed Big Star spawns time from 10.4 seconds to 7.4 seconds.
Made some enemies slightly faster.
Made Blue-Shell run a tiny faster than the player's normal runspeed.
Removed a level (Sewer).
New Original Soundtrakcs and updated existing ones (New Main Menu, Beachy Bridges, Autumn Volcano, Bouncy Jungle, Ruby Ruins, Shadow Volcano).
Lowered Pipe entering time to 0.5 seconds.
Lowered Game-Over time.
Lowered Spawn Time.
New Power-Ups (1-Up, Poisonous Mushroom).
Made Bullet-Bills won't despawn no matter how far the player is.
Bob-Ombs will explode instantly once stomped.
Updated some Networking with some prefab related stuff, they probably improve something.

This is a Map-Character mod from the standalone 2-10 player remake of the Mario vs Luigi gamemode from New Super Mario Bros DS. made by ipodtouch0218.
It features 40+ levels, and 20+ playable characters, along with lots of miscellaneous gameplay changes, making this game silly and faster!

In NSMBDS, it's locked in this position, since the animation is only 2 frames long
In NSMBWii, the animation is longer, tilting their head and legs down more, which is what i tried to do, i merged both animation in 1 to transition in longer falls

ye, if you select any texture in the editor, there'll be two useful things on the right: Filter (usually is set to Point so it's not blurry) and Compression (usually set to None, otherwise it gets too crunchy)

change the directory it pulls from to the character sound folder
