As for the level itself, it looks kinda bad. Same issue volcano currently has with it's 2 floors
Except made worse considering there's no fast way of getting up. Sure, you can wall jump, but that's really the only thing I can see

Suggestion: change all the blocks to ice since its caves are similar to the layout 5-3 (and mabye having a section pay homage to the treacherous snowy peaks of 6-B)

Super not final, definitely has a lot of nonos (like introducing both snailicorns and the early development spindrifts) also feel it might be too small

Tiny ice parkour with spindrifts to deter propeller suit users
When you get the star you drop down to the bricks below and get sent to the middle of the chaos
(Bonus points if you kill the spindrift below the star on the way down and spin-drill directly into the bricks)

Made some changes. Added a thing so when you defeat the first snailicorn he drops a star from the pit like when a player falls. Dunno what im gonna add at the top (you get there by bouncing off a spindrift), but i was thinking mabye a duel with a boomerang/ice/sledge bro with the same star-dropping effect (mabye it also always drops twoards the right so you have to chase it down)

Um…. Small gripe, the whole level is supposed to be ice blocks. Not sure if ice block slopes exist in NSMBDS (i was working under the assumption they did so reaaaally hoping they do cuz the entire level is built around them)

Add a snailicorn to the passage with the coins (you gotta make a really tight jump to get over him)

There is a whole entire level with Ice Slopes where you annihilate several enemies if you slide down it. Granted, it's not exactly Ice Blocks but it is in fact Ice.

Bro, this design lets mini players camp at the pipe
there's no way to hit them when they reach mini pipe
that's always something I hated about Jungle and other maps with mini-only features.
People crank up stars, turn off timer, and just hide in those spots forever.
in general having pipes are usually a huge problem, because they offer invincibility through the animation and you can just instantly go back down when an enemy's nametag appears to avoid them
if that ? area exists there it will definitely promote players camping it or something to that effect

Mabye if instead if a hiding spot there’s two downwards-facing minipipes, so every time you use them you have to descend into the chaos as poir widdle mini-mario before re-entering

they enable campy behavior and stalling gameplay
also i noticed that there's a spot that's hard to jump through
this spot right here might be a pain to jump through for some players who have a mushroom
actually in general the whole balance of this map is VERY advantageous for propeller spammersplayers, ice players, and mini players.

no okay trust me, this actually makes it better.
you actually need to jump, to aim, to make sure you have enough time, and to hold up in order to enter the pipe
with down pipes you get what happened between me and Play2Treasure and Preciousolekanma7x in jungle.

i didnt wanna do mario multiverse's NSMB because it's just the Mario 2 engine, so instead i tested it in SMBX, but honestly I should've tested it in SMM:WE or just Mario Maker because that's a more accurate engine.
