Remember how in the original game mode there was a little colouring effect/glow on the number 8 when you reached 8 coins for the power-up? Now I do know that it would take way more than it is worth to make that special effect for all coin numbers (1-99) and to code it for each number depending on coins for item but at least for 1-10 I think it would be cool to see it, I don't really expect it to become a reality but just a cool idea I was thinking of for a long time lol. Feel free to comment on the suggestion, but don't show hate, it's just some idea I had in the back of my head for quite a while and I couldn't find an other suggestion including it, so there you go.

I mean not to brag but this suggestion is far more probable and more fitting for the game (since it's a feature in base game but it's not in fangame) than many other new suggestions which tend to get ridiculous and even repetitive at times
I think this is something which is pretty much bound to happen, as it pretty much demands for more polish
And it doesn't demand overly much code
But the animation should be on the decimal numbers and for 10-99 to have the number animations swap places to be appropriate with the number
As flandre had stated earlier
Adding Sonic and/or Blaze from Sonic Rush Would add a bit of variety and uniqueness to the game and it would also be really cool if there was a toggleable option (host side) that enabled Sonic Rush Physics (players as sonic) with spindashing and such, as you can tell, I am a huge Sonic Fan and I would love it if you added this, though I'm not entirely sure how powerups would work... mabye fire dash powerup (fire shield but without the shield part) the bubble powerup (the one that let's you breathe lol but without the shield part) and the Invincibilty powerup and also a altered mega mushroom powerup that would make you bigger but not as big as the Mario one, but still quite big. And replacements for the ice flower and such I can't really think of ideas for so if anybody would like to help would be appreciated oh and also in water stages insert troll face here you. can. drown.
