I think it'd be cool if there was an option to have items like the fireball actually deal damage instead of just making people lose a star, could make lives mode more interesting.

They could be separate toggles like "Power-ups deal damage" and "Ground pound deal damage" or just have them both be a single toggle under "Attacks deal damage" or something like that
