#exported audio has gap in it despite it being seamless on the playlist

- another spot later on in the project, same thing, however here it gets exported correctly without any gaps
stretched clips across tempo changes can do that on export. try right clicking the clip that gaps and consolidate/render it to audio first, then export again. if the gap goes, it was the stretch
how do i do that? TwT
cant find that option
just noticed that if i play from the beginning on without skipping i can hear the same gap directly in fl studio, when i start playback right before said clip theres no gap
seems like a loading issue then? idk
everythings on my nvme so that shouldnt be the issue, others clips arent affected either
tried that, leaves an even bigger gap now - when i open the render window it resets to the initial 128bpm of my project (it should be at 130bpm when it reaches said clip)
ah thats the catch, render uses the base tempo. try muting the tempo automation, set the project to 130, render just that clip, then turn the automation back on. a rendered clip doesnt stretch so it shouldnt gap
yeeah i noticed, yesterday i continued trying for another couple hours and found out that if the tempo automation changes bpm, all the currently playing clips dont change their tempo even if they visually stretch on the timeline, only clips that werent playing during the tempo automation play at the new tempo... it messed one of my transitions up and i thought i was going crazy since it sounded different every time lol. ended up moving every tempo automation infront of new clips as a workaround and that fixed everything
