damn im tryna know how you mixed the drums and guitars they sound really good
I would maybe experiment with giving guitars more clarity and compressing the drums more for more aggression
Mix is Fire!
double/pan the main guitar
This song is crazy and I can feel the doom vibe. I definitely think you should add more distortion to the guitar though cuz it doesn't match the vibe fully yet
they're already doubled and panned but maybe it doesn't feel wide enough :c
sounds really good and has that crazy doom vibe, it sounds good to me, the mix is good as is. Just maybe pan some elements
Something you could do is change the tone of the guitar for the second track, so you have the same riff but you can actually tell it's layered and makes the sound more full (I personally can't tell the difference between a single track or the same track doubled into left and right). Someone also said that you should add more distortion and I agree. I think the mix is great and overall I love it, that riff is delicious.
they're already tone differently but not enough to be differentiable it seems 🤔 maybe distortion could also help with this
ic, I think the distortion will do. As of now it sounds like the same tone to me
sounds pretty sick maybe you could gate the kick or use an expander on it, because it’s a little boomy
dont know if its my headphones or not, but how far did u pan the ride to the right?
cus id suggest bring it a bit closer to the centre, but i might be fatigued from listening to my track today, other than that very solid
i suggest tweaking the drums to the left and guitars bit to the center, to my ear i would also lower the volume guitar a bit but it works well either way
The ride is wayyy too far on the right, I couldn't find a better way to pan it tho 😭 I think the track lacks mid frequencies on the right during the drop
probably try find a more trashy ride with more sludge if that makes sense and bring it closer to the center but keep it panned obviously, but i actually noticed u have a crash or open hat playing at the same time on the left. In most metal genres, i rarely hear 2 cymbals smashing at the same time unless being an accent or transition piece, but if u think it helps the stereo field u can keep it, still amazing
ye overally try bring the pannings slightly closer
omg this is peak 😭
upload it to spotify pls
whyyy
i agree that replacing the ride would be a good idea
and yeah two rides might sound weird, tbf i didn't really care if the drum set sounded realistic as long as it helped the mix, so yeah i think i'll keep it as it is but thanks for letting me know, i'll keep that in mind 🙂↕️
soon 🙂↕️
