Wanted to try the drum soundfont out so i made the song. Any feedback appreciated because im kinda out of ideas to continue the song.

my biggest tip to you is practice using breaks in rhythm in your melody

a huge reason this melody doesn't sound too good
is because the lack of rest and pauses in it

can make your melodies much more interesting

but quarter notes and 16ths

overall it can make the rhythm much better

here it's not just rhythm that's the issue though, the pitches themselves sound very random til the trumpet melody came in later, which actually had some sort of contour

K so the main ostinato at the beginning it's not really memorable though.Prob cuz it's contour is hard to follow As biscuit boy said the rhythm gets repetitive because most of them are the same space apart so you should vary the rhythm or have a a variation that had a varied rhythm also for the drums you should increase the volume of ur snare or clap or whatever it is cuz I can barely hear it it blends with everything else

the melody is still very hard to listen to,the rhythm is a little bit better
but the pitches mostly don't make much sense
the ostinatos here are carrying the track, which it's good the ostinatos aren't that bad but the melody needs major work
