It’s easy though, with the style of your song you might not want to use an 808. But if you have vital you should have a bass to use. Typically you would put notes that the melody also has to act as a backbone to your song. I can’t explain jt that good so you could ask in the questions Channel

i tried to keep kick (1) in the exact center, pan hi hats (3) a little less right than the pack had them at, and have the snare (2) sound further to the left away from the hi hats

So in love is interesting. i wouldnt say its empty, its actually pretty original sound i think. Feels like youve been in club too long and now youve stepped outside you can still hear the echo of the music in your head. the only think that doesnt fit in my oppinion is the snare/clap. i like the newer version you sent but i would want to hear it also in slightly muted style

I like this one its not too repetitive with the stuff you add in to make it nice and varied. I'm not a mixing expert but the crash could probably be maybe a tiny bit quieter and maybe last a bit longer
