first time making a hip hop/trap beat. any tips?

i only really make music for games but my friend raps and i wanted to make him a beat to rap on. i dont know if it sounds good, so some help would be appreciated. (shpintt is the game music and sour cream and onion is the beat)

For the beat, you need more low end, maybe an 808. I think cutting down on the high ends would also help cuz i think its a bit too harsh there.

I think i'm hearing some reverb on your kicks which is only gonna make your bass muddy rather than doing anything else

otherwise it's good though

good game music. very clearly intense and it sets a vibe. the beat tho feels a bit muddy. get your friend to rap on it and look at it together and find if it fits or do you need to change up a bit.
