it feels like at the start the song is stalling and it feels kind of stale like it has no power or depth

Beat is good. Prolly make these changes:
- Intro needs to be shorter
- Decrease the attack on the violins at the start, so they sound quicker when the notes are being pressed
- Maybe try a counter melody with Serum

Cool concept, but it needs some cleaning up. I'd definitely add some more drum fills and a heavier sub-bass to fill it out
