so another mix- this time house. bass sounds kinda muddy to me, any suggestions?

when i get home from work i’m gonna take another crack at adding more and fixing the mix. hope i can get some suggestions on where to start. feel free to skip past the long boring intro because there is much more to be added there, and ignore the abrupt ending.

i love the vocal chops, yea i understand about the bass but sub-bass in the drop i so loud i hear, idk but i like the idea you did

in the start you use the plugin Bismuth or chroma? the sound is fantastic

bismuth but have yet to play with it, amazing plugin tho

i think my issue is the bass is so loud it’s not as pronounced yanno ? like you hear the frequency but not the actual like movement of it

but as for the sub i think you could probably use a different one altogether, something with a slightly sharper sound and more attack

or you could figure out something with eq
