I tried to make something different this time, and after having learnt some more music theory, i think i've improved, Any feedback is welcome, thanks!

I think the synths or pads at around 0:10 stand out from the rest of the song, maybe try using a softer sound, and turning it down, other than that fire beat !!

its not bad but id add some bass to it to fill the sound and add low end. also add a clap too thatll make it a lil better

and i agree, the riser is quite strong, i've toned it down a tad and made it more gradual

So I tried to remake(ish) the main part of your project in FL studio to see what exactly went wrong

#

(I am not 100% sure if everything is correct but here)

#

There's nothing wrong with the melody you used for your first two chords in my opinion, it's mainly the melody for your last two chords feeling a little too out of place when put together with the last few chords

#

Although yes there are a ton of notes that are not in the chords that I haven't mentioned but that's another topic entirely (non chord tones lmao) and not really a problem

#

Something like this might work better? (the edits are not that big just changing the D in the third chord to an E and changing the melody a little)

#

Although idk if this is the best advice it's my first time going maybe this deep to give someone feedback but I hope this helped 😭

the pads at 0:10 are really loud, and stand out too much i would turn them down a bit. i really like the sound jumping left and right and the chords are nice.

I feel there's a bit too much empty space between notes. Maybe that's what you're going for but if it isn't something to keep in mind.

Good midi’s and melodies, good improvements on sound design

Yeah haha, it's a bit of an inside joke I have with my friends, mobile has the double tap feature and I thought I had it on heart

Maybe try some background noises for more texture

Solid. Pad at 0:10 is a bit too bright/loud, try softening it

try some reverb on the piano could be good !

The piano feels lifeless because all the notes are at the same volume. The melody has almost no development. It feels like there’s a lot of empty space where you could stick in some bass and stuff. Reverb could be added to the piano. The part at the end where the melody is raised by an octave seems unnecessary to me.

Oh I didn't think about reverb on the piano, thanks for that

A lot have been saying to tone down the pad tbf, and I agree with the hats, they were kind of off for me to

Thank you for the comment ❤️

this might be preference, but i feel like the kick shouldnt have as much high end as it does right now

Oh okay, that's quite cool actually, I think I did look into something like that before, but I can't quite remember

Ok, so i tried to put a bit of reverb on the piano, let me know if it's not enough or i should tweak it in any way

I added a new percussions syncopation bit in the bridge of the song

I toned down the pad so that it wasn't dominating the track

And i changed the kicks, i saw someone say they weren't good and i agreed so i changed them to a better version, i also Cut some frequencies out, i think i forgot to on the pad but now the kicks at least aren't as ear blasting

Let me know what y'all think, and thank you all for the feedback and kind comments!

sorry i took so long also, had been focused on a few other things, was continuing development on my game, was changing a couple life habits of mine and a few other things, plus i have to admit it's easy to get distracted or to just not be in the mood for things, so y'all really help me come back to this, appreciate y'all!

on the piano i would CTRL + A (or just highlight chords)

ALT + R

this will give the chords a random velocity (how hard the key is pressed) and make it sound more human.

I'd make sure ONLY the chords are highlighted now

ALT + S to strum. Just a little bit. This will make all the chords not play exactly at the same time and help to give it a more human sound.

Sounds nice but I think a nice, long drawn out thick reverb on it would be heavenly.

This is a large improvement over the original beat.
The piano sounds much better and there is a better rhythm and the mixing is better aswell.
However, some glaring issues still remain.
There is still very little low end presence. Even the kick relatively high in the mix, and while it still hits I think it would hit better if it sat an octave or two lower. As for the kind of bass you should use I personally would use something more on the synthier? side. Or maybe like a preset frettless bass or something idk.
