First (real) attempt at DNB

just need some advice and feedback on what to add, as im not sure, but it feels like its missing something. not fully completed but its almost a finished product and is good enough to show i feel

ive sidechained my kicks to the synths so they stand out more and i have 2 layers of hats (each layer panned slightly to each ear to make them stand out a bit more)

only thing i really hate is a bar in the lyrics that is "say a man a farted".... ts NOT a bar but i can do absolutely NOTHING about it 😭 🙏

I'm so glad I listened to this 9 day old post, that fart bar is top notch
The drums are kinda low in the mix, so I'd bring those up and perhaps warm up your basses with mid presence or distortion
Could use some more drum layering too, but that's your call

The bass sound designs are absolutely amazing (if its bass loops i lowk dont blame you lol) but yea 🔥 one thing I noticed clearly is that your drums are really weak in the mix liek the other guy said so you have two options: layering which is what six adam coin suggested, OR sound selection where you pick complete different samples for your drums (imo i would js switch sound selection but i dont have much xp in dnb so 🤷‍♂️ )

also wait how does Fuji know if someone's feedback is good or not

bass is a bit muddy and the drums are kinda low. say a man a farted is such a good line tho and i like the structure just needs more variation throughout the song like a drop with a new bass sound

oh yeah its bass loops, no way i was doing that with the experience i have 😭 i appreciate the advice on the drums and such though ill try and integrate this into the new one im doing 👍
