its a delay with the feedback level cranked up like 3/4 of the way to make it repeat but not get louder and then the delay time to about 1/8 i think

your gonna have to automate it so it doesnt repeat forever

it kinda sounds like the delay is happening a little bit before he ends the verse in the original
