I'm trying to do midi trigger sidechain using MIDI Out on port 0 and Shaperbox with the midi input port to 0, but i notice it has a really bad delay, like horrible, and this only happens in fl studio, when using the same technique on other DAW's this is not an issue
on the video the pattern holding the midi trigger is on sync with the kicks

yeah it’s an issue because midi isn’t a part of fl studios plugin delay compensation engine
so this is always going to sound weird until the team addresses this
if all you want to do is volume automation
the best thing to do is to use fl studios controllers to make a signal
you could use envelope controller and draw that exact graph and send the signal out to a volume modifier like fruity balance

but theyre working on these issues, specifically on latency, performance and workflow they'll be some great improvements soon (fl26-fl28 is gonna be an insane run) so just hang in there

hopefully youve figured it out by now
i just want to clarify what i did there was volume automation, but its gating (sound to silence) the signal if you want a pumping/ducking (silence to sound) automation you'd set the base as the minimum and the envelope amount as the maximum

every time i learn more about fl studio, the less i like it bruh
but rent is more important than ableton so i'm stuck with fruity loops
the good thing is that there are workarounds to make fl at least somewhat usable

ableton has a rent to own option, not sure how much youve learnt about ableton but the grass is probably not gonna be greener there

Fwiw, Shaperbox supports audio input/sidechain trigger, which is latency compensated.
Its one of the most convenient work arounds for me.

the thing i like about ableton is that the playlist and mixer arent seaparte worlds, the sampling modes, the automations and a lot more
