Could see myself walking down some sick boss stage getting hyped for the final showdown or something. Really clean, introspective kinda vibe đ„

i would change the flute it sound a bit too electronic not natural enough otherwise the compositions is quite nice tbh

i just got a paid vst and wow the quality difference is INSANE
What is this music for? It's impossible to judge without knowing its context.
As fight music, there isn't enough movement. As town/field music, there's too much movement.
It works best as an intro theme.
Is that what it's for?
Also be careful with runs like at 0:32. I can hear that you're not doing much programming, and that bit sounds really robotic and midi-like. Flutes don't sound like that.

Gotchya. Yeah I can imagine that, just be mindful about that flute, some sample libraries have specific "runs" that you can use, or you could try program your own using a mixture of articulations (Edit ADSR for more control)
yep i got a new vst that has some nice woodwind textures. at the time i just piano rolled it lol
you should try adding variations to the drum instead of looping

does anybody know how to make the bells in the latter third of the piece sound better?
i using the FLEX tubular bells
they sound pretty good as is imo, those bells like that do sound jarring when there's nothing else playing though maybe just remove that last one
â Feedback approved by staff! (Originally marked by blanketcore)
yeah but they sound a bit shallow and you can tell they're out of place
i tried to add reverb and everything
but idk how to move it up in frequency
i kinda wanna put it in "upper shelf"
idk how to describe it but its in the middle to low right now
whats the frequency range like

I like it a lot
you could just eq it to be higher i guess lol
the free ones are hard to mix
the sounds just start getting choppy and you can hear the static
stock FLEX isn't high-fidelity
ts beautiful

made in abyys vibes
Really cool, man. I wish I could do this type of fairy tale music kinda. I listen to a lot of music in this genre, and it automatically reminds me of this stuff, keep it up! Nice compostion

mad feels bro. I think the bells sound good. Maybe you could do a crescendo on that last note so the theme can sound good looped

my bad itâs not done yet so stay tuned
Wonderful, I find it pretty much perfect. The instruments don't feel like they're fighting each other, they feel very complementary--it's good that you kept the brass and strings separate, and I'm going crazy for the accent of the bells. If there was an extended soundtrack version ever released, it would be on my playlist

This is fire, it makes me want to go to the nearest forest and find the magic frog to do my side quest.
Whyâd you decide no percussion? Not saying itâs needed but just wondering

the beat and melody is gas though
it's just the way it's mixed it sounds ike all the instruments are fighting to be the centre of attention
buts that's js my opinion idk
peak

oops
hey thanks for the feedback. thatâs strange. itâs true that the instruments are mixed to be on the same frequency and are general in the middle but i arranged them to alternate so that they wouldnât fight. why isnât it working? i thought i did the mix right.
that MIGHT have to do with the volume maybe
I like it

i dont really listen to this type of stuff but bro are you even using plugins the instruments sound so real
Hey @shy vault! If you find this feedback helpful and constructive, reward theguy8321 by clicking the button below.
yes itâs all digital
damn what plugins are you using
nucleus audio imperia demo version and projectSAM free orchestra packs 1 and 2
i am using a kontakt 8 full license though so if you use the demo without it then it will stop working after 30 minutes. (easy to find a loophole just make a clone of the instrument)
alr thanks bro
idk maybe
oh wait i forgot there were two posts
i usually make beats like the kid laroi and juice wrld but i always wanted to make music for like a movie or a game or smth
the first one is free vsts only
it uses SINE berlin free orchestra
and the projectSAM orchestra 1 and 2
the second one is paid vsts
alr thanks
Your flute ornaments need a bit more programming. They sound very midi, like every note is played individually. 1:00 and beyond are the worst offenders.
You can do this by using legato/slur patches with velocity control.

iâm too lazy
but yes i took your advice and did that in the second one. i recall you said the same thing a while ago
