i dont know how to explain it but id be able to slide my vocals as if it disintegrated but not it kinda of goes back in like selected “chunks”

Are you talking about it snapping to the grid rather than letting you drag it freeform?

Shift+m to toggle whether it stretches the clip when you drag or hides the parts you don't want.
