Yeah less reverb on the kick.

The bass is interesting, it almost sounds like it's sidechained at times.

Are you saying there is too much or too little sidechain going on for the bass? I honestly have no idea.

The bass is sidechained with volume ducking instead of sidechain compression.

I really like the track idea, it's definitely lacking high end. I'd 100% go back to the eq's and throw some of those freq's back in. Other than that a little gain staging and this would sound so much cleaner.

I like this. kick and bass play well together. agree there's too much kick reverb, duck it out from the transient and reduce overall. needs high end from the hats and such. might go as far as to cut some highs from the other instruments and let the hats and stuff take that space.
