#vocals mixed by me

it is missing d-esser, the valhalla should be in a different mix bus, same for the delay, so you can sidechain them, or else you lose the upfront mix effect, those many eq's and i still don't see compression, the limiter is just too harsh to work on vocals, unless you want to cut those highest picks, and that explains the knob turned down👽 the simpler the chain, the better the result, trust me. you just need eq right at the start, to clean the mix and add needed frequencies, then sometimes compressor, a d-esser, saturation and fx... don't copy the chain, but refer to it, trust me, listen, find the things that you don't like and think on how to delete them, only then start applying the effects
ps: put the auto tune after the eq, it doesn't matter where, just after the eq
I'm not sure I fully support EQ -> Autotune
My chains typically go Autotune -> EQ, and my 10sec Google search seems to agree with that
Antares themselves say it depends, which is true for most things in mixing
well from the snippet he sent, that seems like a fast and strong auto tune, which alters the frequencies, if you clean the harsh and muddy frequencies, it is definitely easier, and I repeat, for strong autotunes like this one
one of the eqs arent working
thats my first mix after a 2yr break
thanks tho
ima do it now
some vsts are broken btw
yeah don't stress my boy, I recommend you to watch many tutorials on YouTube, they're really helpful man
