I got weird headphone settings and I had them on when mixing, now I don't know if it sounds right. I use the JBS Quantum Ones and I had ANC on (but didn't know it.) After I noticed I turned it off but it let to a hollow sound EVERYWHERE. I listened to my soundtrack on other ( and cheaper ) in ear headphones to check. There (no special settings enabled) it sounded alright. But on my phone (S24 Ultra, thus relatively good and accurate sound-system) the melody sounded also ok but it was still not what it should be. In conclusion -> I cannot put my finger on whether my headphones are accurate with or without ANC (Active Noise Canceling) as both other testing media are inaccurate and probably distorted due to manufacturer settings. Thus I ask of you to tell me if the base as soon as it hits is flat of nice and full (it is supposed to be full and penetrant)

it sounds like you're thinking about this too technically. settings are important, but not everything.

sounds like your track has very accentuated highs.

your bass sounds mostly fine, although your kick sub feels a bit overpowering. but really, the main thing, again, is those accentuated highs

in other words, there is a lot of loud high frequencices
