i did a little work on it, it was mostly mixing and mastering but i add a soft almost unoticable pad with a little synth at the end of everyother bar

the little instraments in the sample were already good so i just put them more infront of the mix also

Yeah i think its slightly better, I think you just need to raise the samples volume, not as much as I did but a little bit and add a bass, there is no low end other than the kick

yeah because you made the bass too loud and too complex it you keep it simple and level with the track it will sound much better

its not bad but just lower the volume of the bass raise the volume of the master, and make the 808 less complex

I lowk feel like the clap/snare is what is making it seem clutterred imo, spimplify them.

I also feel like the bass is a bit too much (and a bit off key..?) maybe pick a different 808. You could try adding some other instruments like some keys.

If your going for the prod style of 'nice for what' try directly comparing them and trying to see what you might need to match in terms of mixing or sound selection.

you have some points but its not all 100% the problem i think just listen to the one i sent him, its mostly the bass just isnt the right sound selection and it might be a bit out of key

i would say dont do 1/8 chop into it maybe 1/4 thats just me

personally i dont like the reverse bass, and i would add some dynamics in between the hi hat/snare/kick pattern

maybe chop it up more thats an idea but ppl dont like chops
