#how can i get my mix closer to them?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i didnt use headphones but ur mix sounds close enough to me
ur voice is male hers is female mess with the reverb and probably position your head and mouth accordingly to make it lighter
you mean i should not speak directly into my mic?
Not a professional or anything but I think your mix sounds very monotone, you should add reverb. And to my ears it sounds like your mix has a lot of low end frequencies compares to the song that has more high ends.
Thanks for pmo to that song btw
theres already a lot of reverb on my vocals
more low end frequencies cause i guess i have a male voice
but theres still not alot, most of them are the beat
no problem
ah i see, i'll try
Are you using stock reverb?
no
i'm using
let me check
valhalla vintage verb
spaceblender
pro r2
I dont think shes using this but what i do sometimes is add some dalay on a preset called Chorus
Try a diffrent room
do you recommend any?
Wait can I actually just see your vocal chain?
not that its bad
specifically
yea i wish i knew what some of those did
i mean i use alot of plugins usually
Im pretty sure proffesionals actually use more
they stack like 5 diffrent compressors
mic mod = modifies your mic so it sounds like a different one
real time tune = autotune
pro q4 = eq
fresh air = mid / high eq
rvox = compressor
valhallavintageverb = reverb
valhalladelay = delay
spaceblender = reverb
littlemicroshift = wideness plugin
pro-r2 reverb
Damn thats a lot of reverb
yea lol
I was messing around with the reveb, I think you should use a hall or chanber reveb cus it gives more high end
I think shes overall singing in a higher pitch too
What Mic Mod do you use too? cus ive never experimented with that
yea i would believe it
but then they compress it all
or radio stations do
It gets so complex man
i wonder what audio will be like with dolbys new thing
