ok so given an audio, I can pick any scale and try to place the notes in it to see if it sounds similar? is that how you would go about doing it?

let's say first note is X see if next one is high or low and go from that?

I just dragged the sample in

the correct bpm just came into my head

I js went up and said “yeah that’s 158”

it was on the dot

Then I just placed the notes down by ear, some harder than others and I had to listen to parts over and over

It’s a little more jovial than the real song, and I added an accordion type sound and I think it’s better than the og now
