are the samples royalty free because if they are then youre fine to use them
the issue comes from sampling something that is protected by copyright without permission - which is theft
The song has a good upbeat tone to it - I think it has potential!
they're in fl producer so idk actually
idk if this is a perfect method but im just trying to use whats in the daw
i had one in #1371460383373660160 that was sampled from a game but i ended up not including it on the final release
but i do have a paid license ofc so i think i'm good otherwise
but yea im being as careful with licensing things as i can to my knowledge anyways
That's chill - I think FL stock sounds are ok as long as theyre not from the demo projects
anyways i mightve been a bit too quick to put this out on distro it's kinda neat i guess but i'm still thinkin bout how much it sounds like deerwave
like i should've probably changed the bpm
happens, i guess
amateur moment
lesson learned, don't rush things to distro
yh I have songs that are 2.5 years old cos im waiting for me to be happy before I release them
idk man thats pretty wack
bump maybe? i am curious about a couple of things with this song for those are a bit more knowledgeable
why do i feel like i literally repeated the same motif from #1371460383373660160 here for the counter-melody here? it weirded me out a bit ROFL and i hated this song for a bit because i know how people feel about those damn vehicles.
i think i'm cooked but i am curious to explore this from some kind of theory perspective
i may be slow to respond bc i am dealing with some stuff irl
holy reading
anyways my notes on this are:
-no drums -repetitive -lacks diversity in instruments -possible out of key notes in chords
but good base to expand on, would fix the chord tho
i hear potential
i have the same notes
its kind of unclear the genre youre going for here, you dont have to choose one but referencing some sounds from the genre its closest to, probably techno, would help a lot
maybe a faster bpm, with another synth, drums, and some new patterns (a good rule of thumb that I use is just to add or remove something from the beat after a bar (4 measures usually))
drums!
and like a bigger lead synth going on
to carry the song forward
rn its like an awesome background part of what should be a larger song
and switch up the melody a bit
in some parts
for variation
Howdy everyone just got back from dealing with things so I'm gonna take another look at this one before I push it out
Gonna experiment with some percs on the track
TY for the feedback
I kinda slept it on this one but some random I showed it said it was fire and I should make money off of it and maybe he was crazy (POSSIBLY) but so am I
Get the punchiest kick u can find, add a riser then slap a 4x4 kick pattern and ur bass imo
Like that woooosh sound in a build up
ok this is kinda ass but like this is the type thing i meant i think it got potential for sure
some of the notes dont make sense together in a dissonant sense but because of the repetition it can work
this sounds like you are 2 weeks into fl studio
Keep working u will figure it out
u got a good framework for a music mind
lmao thats true though...
bought my license about a month ago and i've only been able to work a lil bit
