I think what pushes this away from Synthwave is especially the bass. Synthwave doesn't really do complex basses that much. I am curious what the notes for the bass synth here are, because it sounds like 3 different synths going at it 3 different ways and it's a very interesting section

So the lead Synth: I think the way you're using it is also often used in Synthwave, but those are just two portions of a Synthwave song. Drums, and like one or two other synths are also included into the package to make 4-5 layers of the song
