So I’m trying to go for an eerie, distorted sound, this song will be split in two at the beat drop to make it the first half a transition. I just would like feedback, hope people like it a bit

i feel like the bass overpowering the vocals takes away from the vocals so much and that's where you will get that eerie feeling

I kinda want to go for that uneasy feeling of hearing a voice but at the same time it sounds trapped if that makes sense

I just gotta figure out a way to make this not as muddy but keep it muddy

Even knowing that's the point it feels like for me it was that "ok I guess I understand what they want to do but I'm never going to listen to this again" because it's more frustrating than unsettling. Hopefully that's making sense and not sounding offensive lol. I don't mean for it to sound offensive at all.

I definitely wouldn't change anything on my account. I've been known to be pretty low brow in my likes so if others feel the same...maybe there's something to what I'm saying. I bet there will be many who thinks I'm totally wrong though.

Nah because it’s a sample obviously and I did stretch the females vocals. I’ll see what I can do and I can tag you later to see if you like that version better because I do understand where ur coming from, the vocals even before the drops are very incoherent.

i understand what you mean but if things sounded clearer in the mix this would be crazzzy. to me it sounds like if someone recorded it outside a venue with a ipod
